Hi, was planning on leaving bare concrete in my basement studio(with deadened ceiling and plenty of bass trapping, absorption on walls) but recent heavy rains revealed a minor seepage issue around the edges. It shouldn't normally reach the studio since I'm building a bit away from the basement walls but I am concerned. A very experienced builder/home inspector advised against waterproofing or sealing, saying that it's healthier for the long term to let the foundation breathe rather than risk excessive hydrostatic pressure buildup (leading to foundation shifting and mold). He recommended Amdry m.homedepot.com/p/Amdry-1-6-in-x-2-ft-x-4-ft-R5-OSB-Insulated-Subfloor-Panel-AMD0140G/205598974also I've read about dricore. Will this affect the resonance of the room negatively, and what steps should I take to counteract it?

To further clarify, would cover subfloor with plywood .

I don't know much about weatherproofing, but I can't imagine anything you do with a sub floor will affect acoustics at all.
