Hi,
I read on RealTraps both the "Room Measuring Series" and the "Measuring Microphones" (Ten mics compared) articles. Both are great, thank you. Quick and easy question.
If you had to go out today and buy a Measuring Microphone and had to pick between the Dayton EMM-6 and the Behringer ECM800 which would you purchase?
many thanks, Frank

I know the Behringer works because I used it in my comparison. And I assume the Dayton works well because lots of other people suggest it. So if it were me I'd probably go by which costs less (including shipping).

Thanks Ethan. I ended up going with the Dayton for those same reasons. From what I've gathered there pretty comparable.
Thanks for the reply.

i bought the Dayton EMM-6 because it comes with a downloadable calibration file.
I think it makes a difference, however minor, to my effective measurements when the calibration file is applied to measurements.
