I just deleted some posts. Hex, please stop. If you see something you don't like just ignore it. Or send me a PM. I will not tolerate attacks whether they're justified or not.

Ethan you're calling me out publically which is the opposite of what you're asking me to do. You specifically asked me not to advertise other companies and yet allowed Nigel to advertise and attack. You profess logical consistency and yet... -m

Nigel's insulting post is still there.
Does this mean that if I don't like what you're telling me I can just ignore it?

I see no insulting posts. Maybe hit refresh? I cleared my cache and still. Sorry the file is over 100kb but any smaller and it's illegible. -m

Well, here's what I ended up doing. Started with a pkg. of twelve(12) 2' x 4' x 2" OC 703. All panels are mounted absolutely frameless, in ordere to maximize surface area and subsequent absorptive properties. Eight panels are mounted on sloped ceiling, front wall and left and right side-walls, stood off the suface by 2". The remaining four panels were doubled to two pair of 4" thick panels, and mounted across left and right front corners. I haven't done any tests. It just sounds a whole helluva lot better.

Hey, That looks good. I like your mounting solution too. For my frameless panels, I covered them with cheap landscape fabric, (it's not UV stabilized as I found out by fitting a batt in a window; the stuff disintegrated in about a year but indoors it's no problem . But wow, from the photo, your room appears to be quite tiny, which I don't think you ever mentioned. What are the dims? So yeah, that's a good start but since you only have 3 corners addressed, you may want to consider trapping some of the other 9. If you measure with REW before and after, you'll see what adding more does for you. Cheers, Rock

Way to go. Looks like you did your best given the space constraints. I'd be wary of being satisfied with "sounds better" since the low end is more difficult to subjectively assess. I recommend doubling up the thickness wherever else you put panels and increasing the air gap also. Other than that looks good and I'm glad you moved forward on your plan.
