I didn't know this but, after flipping through the Absorbers and Diffusers book, turns out treating the front wall with a lot of absorption and having a diffuse back wall is kind of a LEDE (live end, dead end) approach.
*UPDATE* I've teared down basically all not "integrated" panels/bass traps. (still have those huge corner traps back wall, and front wall not so huge, but ceiling to floor.) I also took off those "acoustic ceiling tiles". Those are actually what i teared down first.
I don't have valid measurements yet from the room in its current state. (Probably will measure at some point, and post)
