Dear Ethan / Friends,
I have treated my 15ft L x 11ft W x 9ft h, room with 11 panels as below, on a concrete wall room with tiled flooring.
1) 3x first reflection -2in thich - 4ftx2ft owens corning (no FRK) 2) 8x Bass traps - 2x2in thick, with the panels on the front with FRK.
Would it be a good idea to remove the FRK lining on the bass traps? or should I leave the FRK as I have it now.
Thanks Regards Pradeep

So you have those FRK's facing into that room? If so, yes keep them. Might help absorb some more bass, also they reflect some mid and high frequencies(which usually is good). I'd like to really see pictures from your room!

Yes the 4in thick bass traps are build as two layers of 2in thick, with the FRK lining facing the room and no lining on the 2in panel behind. Is there a way to post some pics? unable to figure it...

In this picture you can see the right side of the room. The first reflection panel on the right side. And 4 bass traps, 2 in the front wall corner and 2 in the ceiling.

Looks great! Really dig those panels!! Very stylish . I'd suggest you to do also first reflection panel on ceiling without FRK(ceiling cloud). Its as crucial as your side wall first reflection points. Man those panels look good! Cheers Pasim
