In my room I found out that my speakers sounds only "right" and transparent, when they're straight ON THE FLOOR. Bass is so goooooooood and tight this way. Also overall character is transparent, the way I've always imagined these speakers should sound, but never got them right on stands... So what now?
It really feels dumb to leave them on the floor and sit on a chair, and try to mix...

Good link rock. I'm currently editing a video on boundary interference but I forgot to include this info on how they reinforce bass. I'll have to put this in the description.
Pasim, since a boundary is more or less a boundary, you can also experiment with putting your speakers closer to a wall or into a corner like that pdf seems to mention.

Hmm. I thought about building a big "studio" desk, and place speakers on that desk, to maybe achieve same sound? Don't know how i would avoid nasty ER from it tho. Putting speakers as close to possible to my slat front wall, doesn't make speakers sound the same.
