Good morning to everyone,
I have an home recording studio (5.19m X 3.17 X 2.68) => 16.45 m2 with some acoustic treatment from GIK.
4 X 242 on each side wall 3 X 242 on the ceiling 3 X 242 on the front wall 4 X Tri Traps on the front corners 6 X Bass Traps on the back
I mix and record only vocals.
My problem is that I have too few bass trap (only 6 for the whole room).
I have already in mind to improve that but I would like to know if is possible that with too much bass frequency there is a lack of clarity in the high?
The problem is that eqing low frequency in the vocals I miss the clarity on high freq.
Thank you very much in advance
Bests,
Luca

I'm surprised nobody responded to you.
A year later, I can tell you that 6 panels won't be enough for both mixing and recording - even if you move them around for each task. I have 20 4" panels and 9 super chunks and I can really only use two points in my room well. I plan on quadrupling my panels in the next year to make my space more useful.
