Hi, So i'm about to create a new space and this time is to work as a business. The new place is in the city and now my concern is to create a box within a box so sound would come out the very least as possible. I would like to record bands even at night so i'm looking to have the highest STC rating my pocket can buy (not much I'm looking to know how to do this the cheapest way possible and what material and layers to use exactly to make it work. Been seeing some videos on the internet and best advise i've seen so far is to put a layer of fiberglass (the cheapest) and 2 layers of 5/8 fire drywall with green glue in the middle following. Is this a good solution? Also the problem is the lack of info for the ventilation. Can you help me out? Thank you!

Did you read any other posts? The guy just below your post is pretty much asking the same thing and I sent him some links. Please read related posts. Sheesh!
