The title says it all. Is there anything I can do sans building a floating room or pouring concrete into my apartment that'll help attenuate his racket?
I just left him a 6 pack with a note so hopefully that'll do it.
Plus has being involved with audio made anyone else insanely sensitive to noise?

Without knowing the details I can't even guess at a suggestion. But the short answer is there's probably nothing you can do that will help even a little. --Ethan

Well, the diplomatic approach has helped so far. Those low frequencies are something else.
On a side note - I watched a video which partially explained emotional response to music. There are about 4 separate centers of the brain responsible for it - some of them deep in the brain. It makes sense why foreign music can be used for psychological operations in warfare (AC/DC in the Middle East for instance).

Hexspa...the more my brain becomes tuned to nuances....the more I become susceptible to other people's noise.... and that says a lot because I listen to Techno lol
