Is it a valid procedure to demonstrate short term audio memory capabilities :
Compare 2 files with different quality. Listen to A track only once. Listen to track X AND Y, as many time as you want. You can't go back to A or B during a trial.

You can't go back to A or B during a trial. I'd take my A and B files, and add the identical desired amount of silence to the front of each, save them under different names. Which files to use? That's where my previous post may come in. Or read down a bit. The easiest audible difference to add to a pair of files is to change the level of just one. Just about any audio editor will do it. Save under a different name. BTW the standard for file naming is that the A file is the one you think is "Awful", and the B file is the one think is "Beautiful".

I'm not able to connect to all three adress : PCABX.com, CDABX.com and PCABX-Pro.com Did you go to the archive.org/web/ and type those into the proper dialog box? I mean the Uploads forum, at Hydrogen Audio.

I mean the Uploads forum, at Hydrogen Audio. Got it. There's a lot of informations in there, but sadly a lot of files are no longer available, in page 1 and 2. There were files that was exactly what I was looking for. I'll link it anyway, I'm sure there will be more.
