Hey everyone, my passion for audio has finally brought me to your fine forum i've recently moved into a new house, have the possibility of making one of two rooms into a studio. I know i havent included IRs or even exact measurements here but i hope an expert can shed some light on it..
Is the fact that the listening position is in an enclave in roomB an issue? theres a big space behind it but would it sound effectively like a small room? attached image show my two options. having the desk anywhere else in roomB isnt possible. Cheers!

If drawn to scale, room B but facing the opposite wall. Having a staggered rear wall can help modal distribution. Having more space and symmetry in front will help with early reflections.
