Hey Guys,
I always try and keep up with posts. And I have entered the world of DIY speakers, in general I am still around. Always have so many question but where does it end. Enough of my life story just a quick one for now.
I had a symmetrical room about 6 by 9 feet, with the speakers firing long ways but I pulled down the right wall. Which now makes the next wall double the amount away from the speaker.
Now, I know this is not ideal. And I will be placing the acoustic panel on that wall. But I am curious if its worth going to the effort of placing the panel on a stand to bring it closer during listening times?
Or is this idea pointless cause the whole symmetry is lost? Anyway, ideas and thoughts...
Regards Masis

What are you trying to tell us? Is this some kind of riddle? Why don't you just give us the dimensions of your "new" room. Better, draw a sketch of the floor plan with dims.

lol, rock. In my experience, moving just one panel isn't going to negate the wall's effect. If you want a balanced stereo image, you need a balanced room. By all means, try it out but no one can argue against physical facts.
