Today I tried this free systemwide eq for Mac. I liked the results how it affected. But the eq itself its crap, it distorts every once in a while. And can't use it when recording. I'm convinced now that I want to use corrective eq for my main speakers. Only negative effect I found it added some distortion around 60hz. Any advice what would be good EQ for speakers? I'm thinking maybe a physical unit, so I could set it and forget, also feed only for my main speakers. Heres graphs:

That EQ software is somewhat buggy, it just went full distortion after some listening. I just had to reset it and it worked again. Others have reported same issue when using that EQ.
That 60hz THD increase, comes probably just from rising the null, also rising ringing and distortion.

This MOTU Ultralite MK3 I have has onboard DSP. I have one notch active but it's intelligence is limited by mine. On the upside, no distortion 🤷🏻♂️

I could have only software related EQ, but I don't really know any good ones. Sonarworks, but it's not quite what I need.
