I’m sure this this has been covered here before but I thought it would be of interest since we all seem to experience it. Often our systems sound better at certain times of the day ( late at night) than others. Sometimes you can’t imagine the sound could be much better; at other times, you turn it off after five minutes.
I’ve heard multiple explanations for this including dirty power (less people using appliances), the weather, feeling more relaxed in the late evening with the lights low, and lastly what seems most compelling, the differences in our hearing at different times of the day. Even my piano sounds better to me at certain times and obviously that has nothing to do with power.
I’d be interested in other’s thoughts on this.

Yeah, Probably forget about dirty power. But maybe being more relaxed etc. may be closer to the point. Perception is probably the main driver. The question is: What are the drivers of perception? Weather? Low lights? Not enough coffee in the morning? etc. Your piano, sorry to say, goes in (and out) of tune with the changing of relative humidity, so please don't hang your hat on that It's probably all your head; not that it's not REAL, just that it may all be your OWN perception. It's up to you to figure it out. Let us know. We're listening... Cheers, (Dr.) Rock

Same here, sometimes music feels and sounds good. Last times i haven't been able to enjoy really. Everything has sounded like a turd. (even they really dont, it's just me)

Right, the "power" explanation is silly, and is easily disproved with an oscilloscope in 20 seconds.
