Making some DIY acoustic panels and heard the towels are a cheap and effective solution.
My question is how many towels thick is ideal for best results.
Will be recording drums mainly so they will be placed around the kit etc.
Any help would be great 👍.

I think regular insulation has superior cost:performance unless you work at a towel wholesaler. Ultratouch, for instance, is made from shredded denim.
