Ethan, my room is 28'length, 11.5'wide and 9" height. I have a fair amount bass traps on wall-wall and wall-ceiling corners and hi-mid absorbers in side reflection points and ceiling. My monitors are 8" woofer but can go low. After moving the monitors and listening position many times from the 38%, the current position seem to be the best except for 2 nulls. The monitors are as close to the front wall as possible, with a 8" bass trap in between the speaker and wall. The listening position is around the front 30%. Attached are the graphs. What am I missing? Thanks Robert

You're not missing anything. The response and ringing you have now is pretty good, and I'm certain it's vastly better than what you had before you added all the bass traps. The only way to improve the response further is with more bass traps. If you're up for it, the next place I'd add traps is the entire rear wall behind you.

Ethan, thanks a lot for your quick reply. I moved the mic vertically 1 foot at the listening distance and the 57Hz null disappeared. Only the 83Hz remained. Will adding bass/diffusor (ie Real Traps) be a correct option or just broadband/bass traps? Robert

I think that I will go with that approach..corner traps and Real Traps diffusers/traps

Bass traps always help with low frequency peaks, nulls, and ringing. Diffusers affect mid and high frequencies, though the RealTraps diffuser is also a bass trap and so will help low frequencies too.
