Interesting article confirming what I've heard which is people who pirate wouldn't pay anyway. Julia Reda seems to have her own agenda. I don't know anything about politics but the European Commission sounds important. You can read what they found here. If this is true it leaves doubt as to the moral standing of such activity; stealing, at the very least, is generally conditioned against. Just wanted to share, not advancing any cause. Thanks.

I'm wondering if there's a solution for the music/movie stealing.
I think I bought more albums because I was able to ear them before at home. I discovered a lot of new artist with youtube an alike. I would never buy an album from an artist I never heard. I'm not keeping songs or albums that I don't like. And I'm glad to buy the album when I like it and go to show when it's possible. I'm not into streaming servicesand I like to listen to complete album.
No more TV at home, when I want to relax after the job I sit in my listening room and play some music. Kids have access to movies on computer though

I'm not into streaming servicesand I like to listen to complete album. No more TV at home, when I want to relax after the job I sit in my listening room and play some music. Kids have access to movies on computer though I'm the same: free streaming for discovery (or convenience) and purchasing the vetted; not into paid music streaming. We have Netflix but much of their library is DVD-only (which I don't understand). In that case I'll rent from iTunes of YouTube for movies. I watch House M.D. on Streamlord, though. Like they say, money follows the path of least resistance. If it's hard or too expensive then, depending on moral impediment, I'll either wait or seek out a free alternative. I don't use bittorrent anymore but usually movies take awhile to download. You risk copyright trolls if you're stealing. It would be easier just to rent. All I'm saying is that, if you want someone to buy a digital product, you have to make it easier to buy than steal. I think that's fair. Also, generous previews or trial periods. For instance, I'm playing with Mixbus 32C and it's demo just makes a puff of noise every so often. In the meantime I can learn the software and decide if I like it. This is coming from a guy who has nothing for sale but I plan to implement these ideas once I do launch a product.

I buy alot of CD's (mostly second hand, tho). I use also Tidal, which allows "Hi-Fi" streaming which is CD quality. Also now there's started to be "Master" quality for some songs. So theyre basicly as good quality as the final master of that song. "Hi-Fi" subscription is 19,90euros/month. And i find that price cheap for unlimited streaming, and i think Tidal gives roalties better to artist what have been listend to. I really like it. Its like a second option for me to listen if i dont have CD(imported to hard drive). I many cases i dont have.. Hard to find all good CD's . For movies i might watch from netflix, rarely. I might do like once in a year for one month subscribtion then quit. I watch movies alot just from TV. Also series i watch mostly from TV. Guess im old school, then? and im a young guy ! It seems nowadays that everybody wants everything for free... and sadly you can get movies and music "for free", let it be even stealing. Still they think its ok to do. But never would do "real" shopliftin..

I remember when I was asking CD for christmas lol I remember when I used to believe in Santa Claus If you beleive in Santa Claus and you write articles about that on Internet, does it means he exists? Just like night and day differences between 24/96 vs 32/192 audio files??
