I have some room treatments in a 17x13x8 room including 4 foot bass traps on the front wall as well as 4 additional absorbing panels. The room also has plush carpet and padding. I recently purchased some new old stock Mirage OM- 6 Omnipolar speakers which have built in adjustable powered subs and passive midrange and tweeters. I notice if the bass amplitude is turned up on the subwoofers I get the windows in the room rattling. I would love to eliminate the rattling. I do have window treatments, and have curtains that have not been installed as of yet. I’m hoping the curtains will help. What else can I do to reduce the subwoofer rattle aside from turning down the amplitude? Are there absorption panels that can be fitted to windows similar to a storm window but on the inside? Additionally, I understand most of the disturbance is being caused by sound traveling through the air, but was wondering if decoupling the speaker from the ground might help using some sort of isolating material. Thanks in advance.

My guess, if Ethan answered, would be that the answer is no. Beyond that, maybe someone else will give a better answer. Welcome to the forum.
