Dear audio experts Thanks for helping med out 4 years ago with sound proofing my not-so-ideal room. Very happy with the results, and the mixes translates very well to other sources. This time we are moving into a new place and I have the opportunity to build a room from scratch. The room is 5.6m X 3.8m and has a pitched roof on both sides. I wonder what options I have. Since the room is not built yet i am wondering about the possibility of removing the plaster in certain areas (grey area) covering it with a lining, letting the insulation of the roof itself do much of the dampening work for me, without having to put loads of panels in an otherwise limited space. What are your initial thoughts here? Open for all considerations. Best Lars

Yeah, do that wherever possible (remove the drywall to expose the insulation). If not, you can search on here for Ethan-approved strategies for treating vaulted ceilings.
